Yukon Society for Self-Defence Skills

What do we do?

We organize workshops where Yukoners learn skills to protect themselves from verbal and physical assault. YSSDS workshops are intended to provide knowledge which will get you out of immediate danger.

Violence is Patterned. Predictable. And Preventable.

Come spend the day with us and learn how to live a safer life.

Learn the facts surrounding violence against women, not the myths. Learn how to recognize the behaviours and warning signs that can precede violence, how to manage a situation before it escalates, and, if you have no other choice, how to deal with it.

This isn't about teaching you how to fight. It's about teaching you how to recognize violence earlier, make better decisions, protect yourself, and get home safe.
